Full CodeMonkey Classroom 30 Students
- ISBN: CODEMONKEY
- Binding: Digital
- Fiction/ Nonfiction: Nonfiction
- Subject: STEM
- Annotation: CodeMonkey classroom subscription—Full CodeMonkey access for up to 30 students and 1 teacher for 12 months. CodeMonkey is an educational online game environment where students learn to code in a real programming language. Using CoffeeScript, a modern open-source programming language, students will be able to code their own original games, apps, and websites. CodeMonkey fosters the development of executive functioning skills such as problem solving and planning as well as geometric and mathematical thinking. CodeMonkey starts with a linear pathway of challenges. On each challenge, students program a monkey to catch all bananas on the screen. Each solution is immediately checked and graded automatically, providing students with instant feedback and personalized hints. On the teacher side, all this assessment data is aggregated and displayed on an easy to use teacher dashboard, allowing the teacher to easily track students' progress, score, grades, and even see their code in action.
